About : Sunday Services

Each week at Tobermore Baptist Church we have two services on a Sunday.

Morning Service : 11am

Evening Service :  6.30pm

Each Sunday morning during the church service the crèche room becomes a lively playground where children are entertained with a variety of toys allowing parents to relax and enjoy the service.  Creche is looked after by volunteers all of whom have been through the Access NI child protection scheme.

Sunday School:

Our Sunday school aims to help young children discover more about God and apply what they are learning to their own lives.

Sunday school meets during our Sunday morning service.  It caters for all children between the ages 3-11.  The children are divided into classes according to their age, 3-4, 4-6, 7-8 and 9-11.  The children are taught a Bible story and then complete a workbook to help reinforce what they have learned

Each year the Sunday school children support a mission or a missionary project.  Last year our project was “Push the Pedal”, which aimed to raise money for bicycles is Asia.  The children raised sponsorship for cycling around the park.

Bible Class:

Bible class meets during our Sunday morning service and is for 1st to 3rd year students (Year 8-10).  It aims to encourage the young people to grow deeper in their faith and love of Christ.

Adult Worship:

On Sunday mornings, after a time of worship with the children, the adults stay in the main church sanctuary as the children go to Sunday School and Bible Class. Presently we are enjoying an expository series on Paul's letter to the Galatians during our morning service. You can listen to some of the messages by going to our resource page and clicking on the sermons link.

On Sunday evening we meet in the church hall and after some tea and coffee we enjoy a varied programme  including worship, interviews, missionary reports and testimonies.

Our desire is to be a church for the family, so no matter what age you are there is something for you.
